Individual Eroding Technology
MPK Special Tools has decades of experience and therefore extensive expert knowledge in all aspects of eroding technology. Many customers in different industries already profit from this - when will you join them?
MPK Special Tools employs two technologies:
Wire and sink erosion for contract eroding and complete manufacturing
In electroerosion with wire, a metal wire is used as an electrode. By means of electrical discharge, a defined contour is thus cut from a workpiece. The maximum clamping area for wire erosion is 200 x 300 x 200 mm, 250 mm x 400 mm x 250 mm, or 330 x 400 x 200 mm
This form of electroerosion is used when complex contours must be cut into a metal workpiece. For this, an electrode in the form of a negative of the desired end shape is produced and inserted into the workpiece to be machined. Electrical discharges remove the surface of the workpiece piece by piece. The maximum clamping surface for sink erosion at our company is 860 mm x 650 mm, respectively 700 mm x 500 mm x 450 mm.
